High n’ Wide is more than  just hats.

As a fifth-generation Montanan, living in a small Rez town — making art was my biggest escape until i realized how free i actually was.

Montana came with my lineage. My family from multiple sides came here before 1989. they built large families and my grandfather built an honorable legacy that still thrives today. 

 

 

My Love for Montana came in the Winter of '96.

After seasons of hardship, my mom, my brother, and I came back to Montana. we had planned to go back from what we escaped. But a winter storm came down so hard and heavy we couldn’t leave. Roads closed. Everything stopped. And in that stillness, Montana gave us the space to realize this was our home — and always had been. We could be okay.

I didn’t grow up ranching or outfitting always just adjacent. I grew up with poverty, potlucks and Mission Mart video rentals but my love for the mountains and rivers was inherited — and earned. Montana gave me a place that didn’t just shape me, but challenged me. Here, my character and my family grew.

Now, as a mom of two and a wife, I’m building a life rooted in dedication, creativity, and adventure. I care for a small garden & farm, love live music, and good food. I spend as much time as possible outside with family and friends. I wanted a hat that could follow that kind of life — quality enough to work hard, creative and playful without being excessive. A hat for all of life’s adventures .

High n’ Wide isn’t a costume of the western culture. its not just for cowboys or trendy Bozeman influencers.

High N Wide is for everyone who wants to rise and take space for themselves regardless what the world takes away. There's no one-way to be Montanan.

HNW is made by a Real Montana Girl who wants the best for her state, the native/ original people of this land, nature, and her family — as she raises the sixth generation to carry it forward.
